The 1st Youth Work Fair was organised in Athens on Wednesday, 18 of April 2018 and our Gov2U partners where there to discuss about our project and get informed about youth work and its application in various socio-cultural environments, the tools and approaches of youth workers, as well as the existing needs and opportunities of youth work in Greece and abroad. It was a celebration day for “youth work”, full of workshops, roundtable discussions and exchange of knowledge and best practices.
The aim of the 1st Youth Work Fair was to bring together youth work organisations, create a network, empower their collaboration and establish the ground for a future common strategy about the future of youth work and youth. More than 16 youth organisations and institutions dedicated to youth and youth workers participated in the Fair, while more than 200 visitors participated in the workshops.
We are looking forward to the next youth work “celebration day”!
